Documentary on teen mental health showing actor performing as teenage man at home suffering from anxiety - Bout Yeh video production Belfast

Video production portfolio – Ulster Television

Bout Yeh’s Stephen S T Bradley was commissioned by Northern Ireland television broadcaster UTV to produce a documentary for their Home series highlighting teenage mental health.

Stephen began development by sourcing a script writer conversant with mental health issues to write a script that clearly explained the process from developing a mental health condition to learning how to cope with what can be a life changing experience.

Feedback on script was provided by a consultant experienced working in this healthcare realm, ensuring the final production was accurate and easily understood by members of the general public.

Filming was carried out by a UTV camera crew over an eight hour period at locations in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, and the edit was done by staff at Ulster Television’s Belfast studios.

Feedback on the aired documentary was positive, including that from individuals connected with those suffering from metal health conditions similar to those portrayed in the documentary (schizoaffective disorder).
