Drone photography and videography portfolio – Carrickfergus Castle
Carrickfergus Castle is famed in Irish history and by the singer Bryan Ferry.
Photographed at the golden hour, when daylight matches the intensity of artificial light.
For those of you not up on your Irish history, the pier sweeping towards the camera is famous as the spot where the Dutch prince William of Orange landed in Ireland on his way to overthrow England’s King James, and conquest of what is now England, Scotland and Ireland.
The low angle aerial photo was taken to draw focus to this pier while the photo taken from a higher perspective was taken to show the castle’s proximity to the town of Carrickfergus and Belfast Lough.
