A life changing experience.

Keith Sheppard was in great shape during his middle years, and skiing was a passion. This passion led to a near-death experience when he crashed off a ski slope, resulting in a broken spine and Keith being left in a coma.

Things changed very much for the better when Keith and his sister were vacationing in Cornwall, England, where he was attracted to stylised hand made glassware in an arts and crafts gallery.

After years studying under some of the best glassware artisans in the UK and Europe, the County Armagh man now makes glassware similar, if not better, to that which drew him to his new vocation.

As his reputation as one of Ireland’s finest glassware artists became better known, Keith was commissioned to create in his signature Irish glassware style for the visitor centre of Ireland’s most famous cemetery, Glassnevin Cemetery.

Check out some of Keith’s uniquely styled Irish glassware pieces below.
