I sell lights and rugs, repurposed from vintage objects including cameras and paint sprayers.
I get them at charity shops, auctions, anywhere.
Some of the finished products are easy to make and some are difficult to make.
Having previously worked in shipping and distribution in Dublin, I came back home to Northern Ireland and there was a lightbulb moment. Pardon the pun.
A lot go to America and Europe. I’ve never seen anything like it.
I mainly came back home because of my mum, who suffers from dementia.
I sold a few lights to one of the more famous directors of Game of Thrones.
Anything can be a light. And they’re one-offs. Nobody else will have a similar one.
