WHEN we get good light, in Northern Ireland, you’ll be hard pressed to find better anywhere on the planet. Case in point being this ethereal shot from Murlough Beach of the sun shining its light far and wide from behind the Mourne Mountains, County Down, by light commander @social_stephen

WAKEY wakey, rise and shine. If you go down to the woods today, you’ll meet Spike, the third Drumlin Giant, in Rossmore Forest Park, County Monaghan.
Located at the back of the Castle Hill, you catch small glimpses of him on the path from Priestfield Lake to the top of the old castle site, then he disappears until you’re nearly on top of him.
Made from recycled wooden pallets. Can’t wait to see him when he’s weathered in a bit, surrounded by leaves and wild garlic rather than gravel. Photo and words by @i_sees_what_i_sees
