Coming home.

A classic brain-drainer, Toraigh flew the nest, that was home in Northern Ireland, and got a job in the photography department of Sky in London. After two years, and with her job not taking the direction she had hoped, Toraigh decided to head home to Northern Ireland.

Hearing television presenter Stephen Nolan using phrases like ‘the new Northern Ireland’, Toraigh thought there was hope, that she could build a life for herself in the country that she loves, ‘with amazing Northern Irish people, whose humour and passion you just cant find anywhere else’.

When she arrived back in Northern Ireland, Toraigh noticed that so much had changed. The city and the country had grown, and she wanted to share it all. ‘There is so much going on, and all you have to do is find it’.

Toraigh has been running an Instagram profile for some time, where she shares her adventures as she travels the length and breath of Northern Ireland, and beyond.

Discover her adventures exploring waterfalls on the north coast of County Antrim, or staying in a teepee in the wilds of Ballyshannon, at Toraigh’s instagram profile ‘belleinbelfast.
