Another life.
While you would think retiring from being a headmaster at one of the largest schools in Belfast would be a time to take it easy and rest, Ciaran Headley has managed to mix doing just that with a newfound calling, creating contemporary hand made pottery.
In my previous job, my work was in education and teaching when I did most of my work with my mind.
Whenever I began pottery, and got a piece of clay in my hands that I could shape and make something new right in front of me, that to me was the reason I became a potter.
I hope you can also enjoy that magical experience of holding a piece of my bespoke hand made pottery in your hand.
